Job description
Overview

Papa's Herb is a fast-growing consumer brand known for its bold identity, innovative products, and strong retail presence across North America. With distribution in thousands of stores, the company focuses on delivering high-quality, accessible products backed by data-driven operations and a strong supply chain. We are a team of builders, thinkers, and doers—committed to scaling efficiently while staying true to our entrepreneurial roots. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Supply Chain & Data to build and lead our supply chain infrastructure from the ground up. This is a builder's role—ideal for someone who has implemented systems and processes from scratch in a scaling CPG brand and is ready to take ownership of forecasting, procurement, inventory, and analytics.

This description reflects the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations for the role as described by the current posting.

Responsibilities

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Build 12–18 month rolling forecasts using sell-through velocity, promotions, and market expansion data.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy of 85%+ at the SKU level.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Negotiate with global hardware and packaging vendors (especially in China).
  • Optimize deposits, lead times, and payment terms to improve cash flow.

Inventory Management

  • Implement ERP dashboards to monitor stock levels and re-order triggers.
  • Drive 4–6 inventory turns annually and eliminate deadstock.

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Own reporting for supply KPIs: forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory cash flow, and margin impact.
  • Present weekly insights to leadership to align supply with sales and financial goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Production teams.
  • Align raw material inputs with finished goods demand and cash conversion cycles.
Qualifications
  • 7–12 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or procurement (CPG, beverage, or cannabis preferred).
  • Proven experience building supply chain systems and dashboards from scratch.
  • Strong background in ERP systems (Sage preferred), data analytics, and forecasting tools.
  • Comfortable negotiating with international suppliers, especially in China.
  • Deep understanding of how supply decisions impact P&L, working capital, and EBITDA.
Preferred Software Experience
  • Sage ERP or similar inventory / purchasing platforms.
