The Company:

Our client is Ireland’s newest and largest anaerobic digestion facility, dedicated to converting food waste and other organic materials into clean, renewable energy. As a leader in environmental innovation, the company partners with commercial organisations to deliver practical, sustainable food waste solutions that support both operational efficiency and climate goals.

The Role:

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales to drive growth and manage the full commercial sales cycle. You will take ownership of the company’s customer base—both existing and new—and play a key role in scaling a pioneering food waste collection service nationwide. This is a hands-on role combining business development, customer success, and sales team leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all sales activities across new business and existing accounts
  • Drive business development across key commercial sectors (hospitality, food production, catering)
  • Oversee customer onboarding and ensure smooth implementation of services
  • Develop sales strategies, targets, and reporting to support business growth
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to maximise retention and account value
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales with operational and marketing goals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular performance updates
  • Represent the company at meetings, events, and client sites across Ireland

The Person:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales leadership, ideally within environmental services, facilities management, logistics, or related industries
  • Strong background in business development with experience managing the full sales cycle
  • Natural relationship builder with excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills
  • Organised, proactive, and commercially astute with a high level of personal accountability
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on growth
  • Competent in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across Ireland

The Offer:

  • Base salary of €60,000 - €80,000 + Commission
