The Ottawa Hospital and University of Ottawa invite applications for the Head of the Division of Respirology. This leadership role combines university academic duties with hospital clinical leadership to advance patient care, research and education across Ottawa’s tertiary care system.

The successful candidate will hold an MD, be eligible for Ontario licensure, and may be eligible for an Associate Professor or higher appointment.

Qualifications

• MD degree and licensure eligibility in Ontario.
• Certification in Respirology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or eligibility.
• Bilingual (French/English) preferred for equal candidates.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Division Head role, aligning with Department, Hospital and Faculty missions.
• Collaborate with leaders to set annual goals and objectives.
• Allocate approximately 1–2 days weekly to administration, remaining time to clinical, academic and research activities.
