Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide oversight of the site Quality Systems ensuring compliance and operational efficiency of systems.

  • Develop and implement annual Quality System objectives in alignment with the organizational strategy and vision.

  • Ensure the Quality Systems including Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, Complaints, Third Party, Training, and Data Integrity programs are compliant with applicable regulatory requirements and company quality standards.

  • Ensure the timely closure of quality events such as deviations, CAPAs, and change controls to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure quality backlog is under control.

  • Ensure training programs are in place and that all employees have the knowledge and qualifications needed for their tasks.

  • Provide Quality System guidance, support, and training to all staff and stakeholders, and promote a culture of quality and compliance across the organization.

  • Establish metrics and monitor key performance indicators for the QS activities, to identify trends and ensure program performance and effectiveness.

  • Promote a culture of quality and compliance across the organization.

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance the QS efficiency and effectiveness fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance processes and outcomes.

  • Lead management reviews to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and Lead the coordination of all elements of the site management reviews.

  • Lead and manage the QS team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.

HSE Requirement / Statement:
  • Works within the policies, procedures and regulations as required by the Company and under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

About You

Education/Certifications:

  • Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • 10+ years Quality experience

  • 5+ years leading teams

Competencies:

  • Strong Knowledge in Quality Systems management and regulations.

  • Fluent English spoken and written.

  • Good knowledge of plant operation.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to influence at all levels.

  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.

  • High level of autonomy.

  • Problem Solving-solving skills.

  • Strong Computer Literacy

The salary range for this position is:

$121,000.00 - $174,800.00

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
