Job description

We are seeking an experienced Presentation Graphics Operator, Workflow Manager, and Team Leader to join our PowerPoint and Graphic Design team. This full-time role involves leading our PowerPoint services, managing five direct reports across three time zones, and ensuring high-quality, timely presentation and document creation. The ideal candidate will have professional services experience, expert knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of Templafy is a plus.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this role is $80,000CAD- $90,000CAD. This role is a salaried position with benefits such as health, dental, life insurance, disability coverage, a pension, and more. PTO begins with 15 vacation days your first year plus sick days.

Your role:

Your duties and responsibilities

1. Working on documents and checking the visual identity to ensure brand adherence, and to expand the firm’s portfolio of PowerPoint design layouts.
2. Creating and amending presentations/documents in a timely manner and to corporate standards within reactive timeframes.
3. Ensuring all work is quality checked, taking responsibility for the consistency, deadline management, accuracy, and quality of presentations/documents in accordance with corporate standards.
4. Creating functional, bespoke presentations/documents as well as ad hoc look and feel templates.
5. Manage workstreams – both reactive and proactive, with a focus on the latter. Educate the business that longer lead times produce better output.
6. Management of stakeholders and expectations, a good communicator that can manage people and coordinate with your team to deliver professional results, whether long-term or under time restraints.
7. Management of a growing team, leading a group of like-minded professionals that need strategic direction, partnering with peers within Impact to work on longer-term objectives and targets.
8. Change how ION ‘thinks’ of PowerPoint and demonstrate what ‘good looks like’ – identify these outlets and exceed expectations.
9. Take ownership with your team of Templafy – a tool central to ION’s success and our ability to scale our brand offering across DTP software.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications:

Required

1. BS in Animation, Marketing, or equivalent degree.
2. 5+ years of background and experience in presentation graphics/DTP work with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint.
3. Strong knowledge of Word and Excel.
4. Strong working knowledge and a minimum of 3+ years of Adobe CS (Illustrator and Photoshop).
5. 3+ years’ experience in management, leading a team, and presentation/document support function.
6. 3+ years of workflow and project management skills.
7. Possesses a critical eye in terms of accuracy with excellent proofing skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience in stakeholder management.
9. Excellent customer service skills, confident to liaise with and manage the expectations of all levels in the company with the highest levels of professionalism.
10. Good written English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team, under pressure and to deadlines.
12. Previous work experience in an Advisory, Banking, or professional services environment desired.
