Job summary

enCompass seeks a strategic, people-centered Director of People & Shared Services to align HR, IT, facilities and administration with the organization's mission and growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead culture, workforce planning, and service delivery, shaping the leadership model and ensuring scalable operations. This executive role offers meaningful impact within a 75-year-old nonprofit and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• CPHR designation is an asset.
• Progressive leadership experience in HR, corporate services or organizational development.
• Experience leading multiple functions including HR, IT, facilities and admin.
• Translate organizational strategy into practical people, systems and service priorities.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to support decision-making.
• Experience in non-profit or public sector is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People & Culture Strategy including workforce planning and leadership development.
• Provide strategic oversight of HR, policies, and systems.
• Oversee Facilities and Corporate Administration, business continuity and infrastructure.
• Oversee IT strategy, cybersecurity, systems planning, and vendor relations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and strengthen shared services and processes.
• Serve as trusted advisor to the CEO on strategy, risk management and policy.
• Develop and lead the People & Shared Services team with clear priorities.
