Role Overview:

As the Head of North American Sales, you will play a crucial role in growing a high-performance sales team across The United States, Canada, and Mexico. You will be a critical force behind revenue growth, market expansion, and territory development. You will mature pre-existing leads on a regional basis and look to on-board territory management and operators when a justified critical mass can be shown.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute robust sales strategies to drive growth across small and mid-market businesses
  • Leverage CRM tools, analytics, and KPI’s to guide decisions and boost team performance
  • Hire, Mentor, and Manage a top-tier sales team with a focus on customer approvals and scalable processes
  • Work cross functionally with field operations, enablement team members, and service teams to be receptive of customers’ needs
  • Instill a culture of accountability, achievement, and continuous improvement
  • Lead and Refine sales trainings on customer engagements, sales tactics, and product knowledge
  • Engage Directly with strategic accounts
  • Travel to meet face-to-face with high value opportunities and be a part of a customers approval process for vetting an integration of an automated appliance and new workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of progressive sales experience, 3+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Preferably in a B2B technical background, Commercial Appliance Sales not required. But a knowledge of the industry is preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, and scale operations.
  • Deep understanding of managing a CRM platform (Salesforce, Netsuite, or Hubspot)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
  • This is a remote role; however, you must live within convenient (>1 hour) distance to a major metropolitan (international airport) travel hub.
  • Comfortable with 20-40% travel time.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with commercial foodservice equipment or kitchen automation
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Jira, or other ticketing/workflow tools
  • Prior work in a startup or scrappy, resourceful environment
  • Experience growing new markets from early-stage traction to maturity, especially in a startup or scale-up environment

Compensation is 125,000 to 165,000 plus commission and stock awards
