Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, synthetic biology, biotechnology or related field.
• 10+ years post-Ph.D. experience in a fast‑moving research environment.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities with team-building experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world‑class molecular biology and synthetic biology function with exceptional scientists.
• Set technical strategy and standards for molecular biology, biochemistry and high‑throughput capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership during team formation and coach scientists to high-impact work.
• Establish the function as a trusted core facility within a project‑based organisation.
