Role Overview

As Head of Marketing at Musaffa, you’ll shape the strategic vision behind our brand, spearhead growth initiatives, and elevate customer engagement across global markets. You’ll lead a dynamic team, craft meaningful narratives, and drive integrated campaigns that balance creativity with data-driven insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the global marketing strategy aligned with business OKRs Lead integrated campaigns across digital, content, performance, SEO, partnerships, and PR.
  • Build and lead a world-class marketing team.
  • Oversee brand storytelling and positioning that resonates with a multicultural global audience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to ensure messaging consistency.
  • Manage marketing analytics, budget allocation, and channel performance.
  • Support investor-facing communication during funding rounds or product launches.
  • Champion ethical finance and help define Musaffa’s role in the future of Islamic investing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startups
  • Proven track record building growth engines from $0 to scale including user acquisition, brand development, and retention strategies.
  • Mastery of digital tools (e.g. Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meta Ads) and growth stack fluency.
  • Deep understanding of multicultural audiences, with bonus points for global or emerging markets experience.
  • Exceptional storytelling, team-building, and decision-making skills.
  • A deep respect for faith-based finance, ethical investing, and building trust with underserved financial communities.
  • Experience owning or contributing to investor-facing marketing, equity crowdfunding, or product launches is a plus.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building solutions with limited resources.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Experience driving cross-functional teams toward a project goal.
  • Strong teamwork skills, including high engagement with sales and account management, and coordination with global teams.
