Job description

At JBS Equipment, we are dedicated to manufacturing top-of-the-line agricultural equipment used in various locations around the globe. As a rapidly growing company based in Mission, BC, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and innovation.

JBS Equipment is seeking a dynamic and driven Head of Marketing to help define the marketing direction and to lead our branding and marketing efforts across Canada and internationally.

Beyond defining and managing the marketing plan, in this role you will also be responsible for the digital marketing, advertising campaigns, public relations, social media, promotional materials, product support materials, dealer marketing support and tradeshows and events for JBS Equipment. You will also manage the marketing for JBS Motorsports including setting up and supporting sponsorships.

Key Department Responsibilities that you and your team will be responsible for include:

Marketing Direction and Plan

  • Define, recommend and maintain a Marketing Strategy that aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Define market opportunities for growth, both in product as well as market regions.
  • Present findings to and collaborate with the Executive Management team to finalize the strategy.

Brand and Marketing Management

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid media advertising campaigns via Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta using UTM Tracking, CTR performance benchmarks, and G4A reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-channel asset production (print, web, video, signage, apparel, etc.) using Adobe Suite while maintaining brand consistency across the board.
  • Maintain and deploy assets across digital environments (WordPress) with basic HTML/CSS troubleshooting and SEO optimization.
  • Maintain a fresh selection of corporate swag and apparel
  • Coordinate product documentation, including spec sheets, literature and product manuals.
  • Coordinate internal design requests and proof all outputs from third-party printers, vendors, and contractors.

Dealer and Sales Support

  • Serve as a primary marketing point of contact for dealer network across North America.
  • Respond to inbound dealer marketing requests (signage, booth materials, co-branded assets, print shipments).
  • Develop support material for the sales team including brochures, campaign kits, and dealer sales tools.

Coordinate Events & Tradeshows

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate company-hosted events internally and externally
  • Coordinate Trade shows including booth design, logistics, scheduling, and other booth materials with sales staff and dealers.
  • Track budgets for event materials and other event-related purchases

Market Research and Direction

  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and sales goals to create meaningful marketing campaigns and content
  • Update research databases to maintain leads, customers, and dealer data

Manage Motorsports Marketing

  • Manage and create sponsorship marketing programs and benefits
  • Maintain all JBS Motorsports social media accounts
  • Annually develop and source decals, vehicle wraps, team apparel, merchandise, and other promotional items

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications, with ideally some combination of Digital Marketing and Graphic Design, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience in a combination of marketing management, technical marketing, digital advertising, and hands-on content production will also be considered.
  • 5+ years in a full-cycle marketing role is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with managing a team
  • Experience in the manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural sectors is preferred.
  • Previous experience with managing a budgets is required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • A solid background with support sales teams or dealer/client networks is preferred.
  • Experience with creating and managing Google Ad words and assessing Google analytics.
  • Skilled in creating digital paid and organic Google and social media campaigns is preferred.
  • Experience with video project management and strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and brand understanding for overall production
  • Proficiency in WordPress (including builders; Divi), Microsoft Office, Meta Business Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects)
  • Ability to interpret CAD and engineering drawings for scaling of artwork, diagrams, and decals is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and proof materials
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
  • Professional demeanor and superior customer service skills
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally within Canada and internationally
