A global automation solutions provider is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to manage all investor relations activities. DESCRIPTION :
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Investor Relations will oversee and manage all Investor Relations activities and is expected to build and foster relationships with senior management and subject matter experts across the company. This role will serve as the primary contact with the investment community where the primary responsibility will be to enhance ATS’ Investor Relations strategy through a proactive approach to optimizing our investor base. The Head of Investor Relations will be based at our Cambridge, ON, Toronto, ON or Charlotte, NC offices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop and oversee execution of multi-year, strategic investor relations plan that is aligned with the company’s long-term goals, to include global investor targeting, communication of key milestones and metrics for success.
Serve as primary contact with the investment community (buy side and sell side) and develop a thorough understanding of stock ownership, stock performance, research reports and other items for the Company, and monitor and assess changes and trends in ownership of the Company’s stock.
Proactively partner with senior leadership to ensure that messaging is timely, accurate, and transparent to shareholders and equity research analysts as a component of an ongoing organizational plan to drive long-term shareholder value.
Oversee and manage the content development and key messages for financial audiences, including investor presentations, management scripts and Q&A for quarterly earnings calls, as well as materials for Board of Directors, and other investment and disclosure-related documents.
Monitor stock trading dynamics to report on shareholder activity and share performance analysis concisely for management, and on occasion, the Board of Directors.
Develop an annual investor relations plan including detailed marketing plans.
Plan and oversee execution of key investor events, including road shows and periodic investor days, which requires occasional travel.
In partnership with other departments, monitor market and industry news including competitor, regulatory, and broader external environment changes to understand potential impact on the business; provide counsel to management on possible future actions.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Requires relevant Investor Relations experience in a management role at a North American public company, or within the investment community, with relevant industry experience. Furthermore, the successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience :
