We’re working with a rapidly scaling technology company specializing in industrial IoT and advanced condition monitoring. Their platform combines real-time asset diagnostics, connected sensor technology, and AI-powered insights to help manufacturers optimize performance, extend equipment life, and avoid costly downtime.

With strong traction in the North American market, they're now ready to take their sales organization to the next level.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a proven sales leader to both drive revenue personally and build out a high-performing sales team. You’ll inherit a small but capable group and be tasked with expanding into new markets, refining their sales playbook, and developing the infrastructure to support aggressive growth.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Leading market expansion across Canada and the U.S.
  • Establishing scalable sales processes, systems, and reporting structures
  • Growing the team to 6–8 dedicated sales professionals
  • Collaborating with Operations and Customer Success to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Reporting directly to the CEO and contributing to overall commercial strategy

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Sales Strategy : Set revenue targets, pipeline objectives, and KPIs for the team
  • Lead & Coach : Manage current reps while recruiting top talent for rapid growth
  • Build Infrastructure : Implement CRM best practices, sales playbooks, and performance tracking tools
  • Be Hands-On : Personally manage and close strategic enterprise-level deals
  • Work Cross-Functionally : Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and expansion for clients
  • Identify New Verticals : Explore and develop new industrial sectors to drive market penetration
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Significant B2B sales experience in industrial technology — preferably in manufacturing, IoT, predictive maintenance, or automation
  • Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and manage successful sales teams
  • Strong record of closing large, complex deals
  • Skilled in CRM usage and data-driven sales management (Zoho experience an asset)
  • Familiarity with long-cycle industrial sales (RFQs, pilot programs, procurement)
  • Highly self-motivated with a bias toward action in fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America to meet with clients and support the team
