Responsibilities
- Be the first HR person at the company handling recruiting and HR topics hands-on.
- Own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process across roles and departments.
- Source candidates actively through LinkedIn, referrals, etc.
- Review applications and manage the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Conduct initial screening interviews with applicants.
- Manage and continuously improve the onboarding process for new hires.
- Oversee and structure internal people management processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for all HR inquiries.
- Define and standardize HR policies, internal documentation, and workflows.
- Build out the HR department and define the HR strategy.
Requirements
- Experience being the first/early HR hire in a fast-growing B2B software startup.
- Demonstrated success scaling the HR department in an international, B2B software startup.
- Willingness to work hands-on on recruiting and people ops topics.
- Extensive experience in both recruiting and HR/People Operations.
- Proven track record of managing the full-cycle recruiting process for various roles.
- Familiarity with international and US employment practices.
- Experience working with ATS and HRIS.
- Flexibility to conduct interviews with candidates in different time zones.
- Good understanding of market-standard compensation, equity, and benefits.
- Talent to organize and set up processes with a strong attention to detail.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for creating a positive experience for applicants and employees.
