As the Head of Government Affairs and Policy for Canada, you'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with government officials that align with our corporate goals. You'll use your deep understanding of government policies to assess their impact on our company, customers, and employees, providing objective recommendations on our engagement strategies and executing upon them.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Relationship Building: Establish, maintain, and prioritize relationships with government officials at federal and provincial levels. Promote policies aligned with our goals to ensure our interests are well-represented within the governmental sphere. Building and sustaining these relationships will be crucial in advancing our strategic objectives.
  2. Policy Analysis: Leverage your understanding of government policies and processes to assess their potential impact on our company, customers, and employees. Provide objective recommendations on engagement strategies during policy deliberation and implementation, helping us navigate the regulatory landscape effectively.
  3. Opportunity Assessment: Review government programs and procurement needs to identify opportunities that align with our business and policy goals. Provide thorough assessments to help us capitalize on relevant government initiatives.
  4. Strategic Framework: Establish and lead an internal process for determining our engagement strategies. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop a cohesive approach to government engagement, ensuring strategies are well-defined and effectively implemented.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead external engagement efforts by interacting with government and non-government stakeholders. Represent the company's interests, build alliances, and foster collaborative relationships to advance policy objectives.

Your expertise in government affairs and policy will be crucial in navigating the regulatory landscape, aligning strategies with business goals, and driving success.

As a government affairs consultant at Kyndryl, you will join the Policy Analysis team, working alongside other specialists, with opportunities for growth supported by our investment in your development.
