Your role

Are you an individual with a blend of strategic acumen, market expertise, and leadership? We are looking for you to lead the Global Markets team at UBS Investment Banking in Canada, driving strategic direction, revenue growth, and risk management across equities, Fixed Income, FX, and commodities.

In this role, you will:

1. develop and execute Canada specific strategies to enhance market share and profitability
2. strengthen relationships with Canadian Institutional clients and drive cross selling opportunities
3. oversee trading desk, ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns and adherence to market/credit risk limits
4. ensure compliance with Canadian regulations (OSFI, IIROC) and global standards
5. lead, mentor, and develop high performing teams across sales, trading, and analytics
6. partner with technology, operations, and compliance teams to enhance infrastructure and efficiency

Your expertise

• 15+ years of Global Markets experience
• senior leadership and people management experience
• deep expertise in Canadian financial markets, regulation, and economic drivers
• proven Track Record in managing P&L and complex risk portfolios
