Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader in Data Science and Machine Learning ML to shape and execute the organization’s data-driven future, with a robust foundation of early success and a growing customer base. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the data science and machine learning strategy, drive innovation across the product portfolio, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric, production-grade AI solutions. It is a hybrid position with a competitive salary and package, working within a dynamic and growth-minded environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic leadership:

• Define and execute the company-wide Data Science & ML strategy aligned with business and product goals.
• Set the vision for how machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics create value across the product suite and client solutions.
• Champion a culture of experimentation, measurement, and evidence-based decision-making.

Applied Data Science and Machine Learning:

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts in a collaborative environment.
• Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of ML models (forecasting, personalization, optimization, etc.).
• Ensure scalable integration of ML/AI into products using tools like Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Airflow, and Databricks.

Cross-functional collaboration and team building:

• Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to provide actionable insights.
• Uphold strong data governance (high data quality, integrity, and compliance across all data sources and pipelines), ethical AI practices, and democratize access to analytics across teams.
• Translate complex problems into actionable insights while advising executives and representing the company externally.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of progressive experience in data science, ML, or analytics.
• More than seven years of experience leading high-performing teams.
• Proven track record of deploying ML models at scale in production environments.
• Expertise in Python/SQL, modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Looker) and MLOps practices.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, and ethical AI frameworks.
• Outstanding communication skills and leadership presence, especially in fast-paced or startup settings.
