Kitchener, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Full-time | $65,000–$90,000

What You’ll Own

You’re not here to fill a role. You’re here to set the pace for how Gambit shows up in the world.

  • Shoot, edit, and deploy our podcast (Working Title: Out of Scope)
  • Own our social, blog, press, and public story—end to end
  • Document the “how” and “why” as it happens, not sanitized afterward
  • Support client projects where needed, but your main focus: making us real, visible, and impossible to ignore
  • Be the voice, not just a megaphone. No brand templates. Make it yours.

Who You Are

  • You’re a creator at heart. You know how to take an idea from rough sketch to polished piece and you’re comfortable switching between strategy and execution.
  • You get things shipped. You see through the noise and create stuff people actually care about. You’d rather move fast and fix than wait for permission.

Skills

  • AI is part of your workflow – Tools like ChatGPT aren’t just novelties; you use them to think, write, and move faster
  • You know your way around a timeline – Final Cut, Opus, Premiere, CapCut, whatever helps you edit clean, engaging video
  • You’ve shipped content – Social, video, blog, podcast, microsite etc.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress
  • Graphic design skills (Figma, Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Comfort with newsletter tools like Substack or Mailchimp
  • Experience with AI editing tools
