Sun Life is seeking an AVP, Compliance Technology and Innovation to lead strategic transformation across the Compliance function. You will drive the technology roadmap, oversee operations, and partner with senior leaders to deliver risk-based, data-driven decisions.

You’ll guide analytics, automation, GenAI initiatives, and governance to improve regulatory compliance and operational efficiency while shaping the future of the function. Montreal-based hybrid role with broad impact.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Compliance/ Risk programs at enterprise scale.
• Proven ability to shape strategy and governance across technology.
• Strong communication and executive storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the vision and roadmap for Compliance Technology and Innovation.
• Partner with senior leaders to align investments and deliver outcomes.
• Oversee technology operations, release management, and automation initiatives.
• Lead analytics, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions for risk insights.
• Represent Compliance in enterprise tech initiatives and reporting.
