Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Head of BIM, EMEA Aviation to join our team! In this role, you will work on major infrastructure projects in the kingdom.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Support implementing BIM/GIS requirements for the projects and monitor the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria by third-party design consultants and works contractors, including compliance with the Employer’s Information Requirements, in the Common Data Environment.
2. Support design review activities focusing on coordination, clash detection, and reliable, consistent, and timely data exchange.
3. Develop and distribute a concise project description to all project team members for reference.
4. Collaborate with managers and discipline leads to support project design development and BIM/GIS requirements, ensuring project goals are met or exceeded.
5. Participate in progress meetings with Design Management/Construction Management teams to review BIM status and formulate action items, following up on instructions and commitments.
6. Define data parameters for geospatial projects using advanced analytical techniques to solve complex GIS issues and digitize geographic information from raw land data into code.
7. Research, study, and prepare maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic formats.
8. Contribute to the preparation of Monthly Reports and Design Stage Reviews, among others.
9. Promote design excellence through Quality Assurance processes.
10. Monitor and report project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting the project brief, cost, or schedule.
11. Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.

Required Skills:

• Engineering Degree with 10+ years of related experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong BIM, PC, and CAD skills, with knowledge of relevant software capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with supervisory experience on projects.

Desired Skills:

• Effective managerial skills on complex construction projects.
• Proficiency in client presentations, technical reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Understanding of budget development and cost management.
• Ability to operate effectively in a multi-organizational, collaborative environment.
