Job summary

National Bank seeks a Senior Manager Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Technology within the Capital Markets and Treasury risk Management team in Montreal. You will lead a new multidisciplinary team to transform risk management through AI, build high-performing teams and drive concrete organizational impact.

You will define strategy for the AI Talent Hub, recruit and develop AI specialists across automation, data, product management and engineering, and deploy teams to pursue high-value

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, engineering, data science, a quantitative discipline or a related field, and significant relevant experience.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and large-scale transformations.
• Solid knowledge of AI, agentic systems, automation, modern software development, data and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategy and operating model for the AI Talent Hub, including priorities related to talent, mandates, technology and knowledge sharing.
• Recruit, develop and engage AI specialists in automation, data, product management and engineering, while maintaining a solid talent pool.
• Deploy specialists or multidisciplinary teams to target opportunities with high value, develop prototypes and industrialise solutions.
• Guide development and adoption of platforms, components, agent models, and reusable environments with technology teams.
• Support risk management leaders in developing processes, roles, and workforce needs.
• Design and test governance approaches adapted to AI-assisted work with multiple teams.
