Penfolds Roofing & Solar is a leader in roofing and solar installations. We are expanding our Account & Finance Department and seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Accounting and Finance functions. Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our business goals. As part of the leadership team, provide insights, recommendations, and help to execute initiatives that drive operational excellence.
• Management & Reporting: Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc. Ensure timely delivery, integrity of financial statements, and compliance with regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure the company is protected against potential financial threats.
• Relationship Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders and financial institutions. Communicate financial performance and strategy effectively to build trust and transparency.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting & finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development.

What you bring

• 5+ years of senior leadership experience with the ability to work effectively with the leadership team and inspire and lead a high-performing team.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of experience working in the construction, manufacturing, or related sectors is considered a strong asset.
• Excellent understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles.
• Track record of success in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and strategy.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Acumatica is considered an asset.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
