Job Description

As a dynamic member of the Staff Services Team, this position focuses on ensuring the well-being of FairmontJasper Park Lodge'semployees and residents. This role has an integral impact on the satisfaction and comfort of residents (our guests) in colleague accommodation.

Starting rate of pay: $20.81 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Initiate and maintain effective communication within the Staff Services andother departments
• Continuous supervision, training and on-going performance reviews of housepersons
• Inspect assigned rooms and cabins for cleanliness and maintenance
• Supervise the supply, proper use and care of equipment.
• Report all maintenance deficiencies and follow through with repairs in rooms, cabins and surrounding areas
• Clean and maintain all staff areas (outside grounds, R&R room, training room & laundry rooms)
• Ensure that all recycling is carried out daily
• Daily supervision of Linen room operations in absence of uniform coordinator
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Valid Alberta driver’s license required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Housekeeping/janitorial experience an asset
• Experience with linen room operations an asset

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
