We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Football Coach to build and lead this exciting new endeavor. The successful candidate will be dedicated to fostering the spiritual, academic, and athletic growth of our student athletes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview:
The Head Football Coach will be responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of the football program, from team formation and training to game preparation and off-season development. This includes establishing a positive and disciplined program culture that reflects the values of Catholic education, including sportsmanship, teamwork, and integrity. The coach will begin this journey by starting a Grade 8 team in the fall of 2025. This will require the recruitment and management of coaching staff, and will collaborate closely with the athletic director, athletic department leadership, parents, and school administration. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the athletic director, administration and other athletic programs to ensure that players are encouraged to develop as well-rounded athletes and multi-sport athletes.
The successful candidate will have a full-time teaching role (classroom teacher) in addition to the role of Head of Football / Head Football Coach.

On an ongoing basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply. Our major hiring season is in April for the following school year, but we recommend that you apply now as we receive an influx of applications.
