Job description

The University of Lethbridge is seeking a full-time, Limited Term position as a Head Clerk – Customer Service (Phys Ed Facility Assistant I).

  • Front counter : process memberships, lockers and program registrations.
  • Administrative duties : cash-out verification, daily uploads & web maintenance, and game day preparation.
  • Staff training / orientation and scheduling : customer service and fitness centre staff.
  • Locker & Fusion software management : managing all aspects of locker software and train & assist CSC / Horns Rec staff in creating of programs / packages / products as it relates to courses / classes and POS.
  • Assist Manager, Horns Recreation, Customer Service & Fitness : administration of fitness and recreational programs.

The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification review for Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) positions. As such, the classification level currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project. Position Qualifications

  • 2 years Customer Service / Administration Experience
  • Standard First Aid, CPR / AED

Strong customer service skills, exhibit sound judgement and effective problem solving and can work efficiently and collaboratively with groups / teams and individuals. Strong verbal and written communication skills, team building skills and can be proficient with business planning, computer programs and recreation software (Fusion).

Note : The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check. Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $3,741.00 - $4,163.00 monthly Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $3,741.00 - $4,584.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 7)
