Salary : $70,000 + Benefits + Tips + Discounts + 3 weeks Vacation!

Our client is a well-known hospitality group and are seeking a Head Chef for one of their vibrant establishments. This restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its electic menu and lively atmosphere in an urban setting. We are looking for someone with a hands-on kitchen management approach.

Responsibilities :

  • Standardize recipes, plating instructions, and menu costs.
  • Inspect food products daily to ensure freshness and uphold resort quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager and purchasing team to source the best quality ingredients at optimal prices.
  • Participate daily in food preparation to ensure execution and quality standards are met.
  • Develop specials and coordinate with management on special events and marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and educate staff on safety practices and procedures.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
  • Train and develop team members on technical and professional skills for future growth opportunities.

Ideal Head Chef :

  • Strong leadership abilities to manage and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Proven ability to design creative and appealing menus that cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary needs.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in all dishes served.
