Are you a passionate, hands-on chef who loves scratch-made comfort food and small-town hospitality? Dads Diner is looking for a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and help shape the future of our local favourite while supporting our award-winning food truck too!

About Us:
Dads Diner is a cozy, award-winning diner in Regina, famous for hearty schnitzels, spaetzle, burgers, and our house-made cinnamon buns. We pride ourselves on made-in-house classics, friendly service, and community connection. Alongside the diner, we also run The Frying Deutschmann, a schnitzel-forward food truck serving events and festivals across Saskatchewan.

What Youll Do:
Lead daily kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and speed
Manage food prep, line service, and catering orders
Collaborate on seasonal features and menu updates for both the diner and food truck
Oversee food costs, inventory, and ordering
Train, schedule, and support a tight-knit kitchen crew
Maintain high health and safety standards
Assist with food truck prep and occasional events

What Were Looking For:

Red Seal or equivalent leadership experience preferred
3+ years in a kitchen management or head chef role
Strong comfort food and scratch cooking skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Multi-outlet or catering experience an asset
