  • Guide, support, and supervise kitchen team members with a focus on professional development and clear expectations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to promote a positive work culture and high-performance team.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with kitchen staff, support onboarding and training, and address performance concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Lead performance evaluations and follow up with individual development goals.
  • Address issues as they arise, including navigating difficult conversations and reinforcing standards where needed.
  • Foster an atmosphere of collaboration, inclusion, and mutual respect within the kitchen and across departments.
  • Communicate with other departments, such as reception and guest services, to coordinate special dietary requests and accommodate changes in guest numbers.
  • Manage kitchen schedules and task delegation to maintain balanced workloads.
  • Review and submit time sheets in line with Larga policy and ensure effective shift handovers via the communication log.
  • Participate in team and safety meetings as required.
  • Report maintenance needs, equipment concerns, or supply issues promptly.
  • Be available to assist guests as needed and help direct them to the appropriate team member when further support is required.
  • As a member of the supervisor team, participate in regular leadership meetings, lead by example, support and help implement new initiatives, and contribute to operational improvements.
