Job summary

RONA is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead our front-line teams in London, Ontario. You will ensure service standards, manage cash and opening/closing procedures, and train associates to uphold company programs.

You will drive exceptional customer service, oversee register coverage and stock usage, and mentor staff while supporting store operations and initiative rollout such as Pro, RPP, financing, surveys and fundraising.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in team supervision.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Supervise frontend staff to ensure service standards are being maintained.
• Oversee register coverage and store supply usage.
• Provide refunds and monitor cash drawer amounts.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing any issues.
• Understand, train and promote company programs and initiatives (Pro, RPP, financing, survey, fundraising).
• Train and mentor new associates.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
