Job summary

RONA in Whitby, Ontario, is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead our frontend team and ensure outstanding service. You will oversee register coverage, manage store supplies, handle refunds, and support opening and closing procedures in a busy home improvement environment.

Your role is critical to maintaining smooth operations, accurate cash handling, and a positive shopping experience for customers. You will train and mentor new associates, communicate company programs and initiatives (Pro, RPP,

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in team supervision.
• Strong communication skills and problem solving.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise frontend staff to ensure service standards are maintained.
• Oversee register coverage and store supply usage.
• Provide refunds and monitor cash drawer amounts.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing issues.
• Understand, train and promote company programs and initiatives (Pro, RPP, financing, survey, fundraising).
• Train and mentor new associates.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
