We are seeking a compassionate Personal Caregiver to join our team in Penticton. The role involves delivering exceptional care and support to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Pay range:

$23.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide homemaking services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management
  • Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities
  • Administer personal care services as per care plans
  • Ensure clients' emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety
  • Assist with activities of daily living tailored to client needs
  • Perform specialized procedures with proper training and current competency
  • Observe, document, and report client conditions and any changes
  • Follow infection prevention practices

Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited caregiver training program
  • Knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; French is an asset
  • Ability to provide high-quality community care services
  • Physical ability to assist clients, lift up to 23 kg, squat, bend, stand, and reach
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto
  • Clear criminal background and Vulnerable Sector checks
