Responsibilities

• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and work areas
• Cut agricultural crops
• Divide harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
• Mix and apply fertilizer
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Remove suckers and water sprouts
• Clean the work area
• Fertilize and spray crops
• Harvest crops
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Detect diseases and health issues in crops, livestock and poultry
• Examine product quality and readiness for market

The open positions are for Permanent employment or Full time job. The shift schedule encompasses shift times which include Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning and Morning. The position of Harvesting labourer has been approved by the LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for cutting agricultural crops.
• The candidate will be responsible for dividing freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate must mix fertilizer.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
• The candidate must clean the work area.
• The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and spraying crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must detect disease and health issues in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must examine the product’s quality and readiness for market.
