They're are a small team of innovators who are passionate about fundamentally improving how electrical engineers deliver electronics with higher confidence. Their founders are responsible for creating the largest product development firm in the US, and building Azure Quantum at Microsoft.

They are seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer - AI to serve as the conductor of their hardware/electrical engineering design processing operations. This role is critical to their scaling strategy as they grow from processing 1 design per week to 10-20+ designs weekly. You'll own the end-to-end operational workflow while enabling their development team to focus on building and improving their technical tools and automation systems.

This role offers the opportunity to build and scale operational infrastructure from the ground up, with direct impact on company growth and the potential to lead a team as they scale to higher volumes and eventually transition to full SaaS delivery.

Core Responsibility
Own and orchestrate the complete design ingestion, processing, and delivery pipeline - managing operational workflow complexity so their technical team can focus on high-value development work including data ingestion/verification, Sigma engine improvements and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management & Orchestration
• Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for design processing
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation and workflows
• Establish timing benchmarks and quality checkpoints across the pipeline
• Manage operational task backlogs and coordinate multi-design processing at scale
• Shepherd individual designs through the entire pipeline, tracking progress and identifying bottlenecks

Hands-On Design Processing
• Execute data entry, component analysis, and design processing tasks
• Conduct quality control reviews and validation of team member work
• Handle overflow work to prevent development team disruption
• Provide real-time feedback to development team on tooling improvements from user perspective
• Document workflows during execution to ensure process accuracy

Operations Analytics & Scaling Infrastructure
• Analyze processing times and identify operational inefficiencies
• Create post-mortem analyses and maintain operational metrics/dashboards
• Recommend automation priorities to the development team based on bottleneck analysis
• Design scalable processes supporting distributed work (from 1 to 20+ designs/week)
• Build frameworks for quality control and create training materials for future scaling phases

Cross-Functional Coordination
• Interface between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Coordinate resource allocation and task prioritization across specialties
• Manage stakeholder communication regarding status and delivery timelines
• Ensure seamless handoffs and prevent work from falling through cracks
