• Conduct signal integrity measurements, thermal stress testing, and component qualification.
• Contribute to documentation such as Design Specification and Test Plans.
• Work in Cadence CAD tools (Concept/Allegro).
• Learn how fiber optic transport equipment and associated test equipment function.

How you will make an impact

• Perform hardware test and debug of new and existing circuit boards.

Requirements

Nice to have

• Familiarity with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers and test sets).
• Understanding of high speed signaling, transmission lines, digital and analog design.
• Experience designing and debugging hardware.
• Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout tools.

Pay Range

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.50 - $35.00. Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
