PCS is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer (aerospace/avionics) to join our Dorval, QC onsite team. This permanent role requires a deep background in aerospace/avionics and hands-on FPGA/ASIC work.

You will conduct design reviews, perform safety and regulatory assessments, and mentor engineering teams while ensuring compliance with DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-330 and FAA/EASA standards. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in engineering and 10+ in aerospace, with proficiency in C/C++, Ada, Assembly,

Qualificações

Job Description

• Seeking 15+ years of engineering experience, including 10+ years in aerospace/avionics and hands‑on expertise in FPGA, ASIC, and embedded software development.
• Strong knowledge of airborne certification standards including DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-330, FAA/EASA regulations, and software/hardware compliance processes.
• Experience with C/C++, Ada, Assembly, Python, HDL, DOORS/JAMA, embedded architectures, RTOS, and supplier design/certification assessments.
• Responsible for design reviews, technical audits, safety/compliance assessments, deficiency resolution, certification documentation, and mentoring engineering teams.
