Job Summary

Since 2006, Barton & Gray Mariners Club (B&G) has been revolutionizing the yachting industry. As an exclusive yachting club, we provide private and memorable outings across 35 stunning harbors from New England to The Great Lakes, Mid Atlantic, South Florida, South Carolina, and the Bahamas. With our expanding footprint, we are hiring seasonal full-time and part-time Harbor Support team members for the Summer 2025 Season. The Harbor Support employee will work directly with B&G captains to support the day-to-day needs of the port, including the coordination of onboard provisions and inventory management. This position will work with multiple departments within B&G to facilitate the port running smoothly and ensure a high-quality member experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintaining and tracking of all cabin and provisions inventory.
  2. Communicate with the purchasing coordinator regarding inventory needs.
  3. Assist captains with catering delivery, picking up provisions from outside vendors, and cleaning/turnover of boats for watches.
  4. Ensure all dock boxes and storage units are stocked.
  5. Laundering of towels and blankets.
  6. Maintain overall cleanliness of B&G yachts.
  7. Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Abilities

  1. Must have reliable transportation for use during work day, eligible for mileage reimbursement.
  2. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.
  3. Strong organization and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work on a team and independently.
  5. Ability to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling, or crawling.
  6. Ability to lift 25+ pounds.

Education And Experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
