Overview

This customer-facing role has the crucial responsibility of making our passengers feel safe and secure as they travel from coast to coast.

We are looking for security professionals who can provide visible security presence, assist passengers, and uphold safety standards across ferry terminals and onboard vessels.

The Day to Day

• Ensure the safety and security of ferry terminals (Swartz Bay) and onboard vessels
• Act as a visible security presence and deterrent to support a safe environment
• Engage with the public to provide assistance, direction, and exceptional customer service
• Perform security procedures including unlock/lock-up checks and routine inspections
• Operate communication tools such as radios and escalate incidents as necessary
• Identify, report, and help mitigate safety hazards
• Support passenger safety and satisfaction during coast-to-coast travel
