They are continuously active on dozens of projects. Requirements:

• Must be proficient with knowledge of computer programs (Word, Excel)
• Must be organized and proficient in communication (verbal & written)
• Must have time management skills (time-sensitive requirement)
• Basic Knowledge of construction industry (Not mandatory)
• Must have own vehicle to drive daily to jobsite in the GTA & surrounding areas
• Training is required – (Working at Heights, Basic worker Health & Safety Awareness, WHMIS)
• Additional training required, (bonus items)
  • Basics of Supervision
  • JHSC Certified member
  • Hazard Identification

Duties:

• Review and understand company policies.
• Perform Weekly Safety talks with workers.
• Complete site orientations with new workers.
• Complete accident/incident reports on jobsites.
• Maintain & organize all safety documentation on multiple jobsites.
• Identify safety hazards & infractions (document in inspection report).
• Inspect and correct safety issues and concerns on jobsites.
• Attend site meetings with General Contractors & JHSC.
• Assist Supervisors & Foremen with daily documentation requirements.
• Function as a liaison between the employer and the general contractor.
• Enforce compliance of company policies and standards.
• Discipline workers for noncompliance.

*These duties apply to multiple jobsites throughout the GTA and occasional office setting.

Hours of operation: 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday & rarely, Saturday (2-4 hours) in exceptional circumstances.
