Sentry Roofing & Siding Ltd. is seeking a building maintenance worker to perform minor repairs and routine upkeep at various locations. The role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience and the ability to work without close supervision.

This on-site position involves working in all weather conditions and may require work at heights. Candidates must have a high school graduation certificate and be able to operate hand and power tools.

Responsabilidades

• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Install hardware such as knobs and hinges.
• Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
