Job summary

Larlyn Property Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our Southwestern Ontario portfolio from the London office. The role requires reliability, flexibility with scheduling, and willingness to support weekend or on-call emergency needs when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance service experience.
• Renovation experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance across multiple sites.
• Prepare vacant units for re-renting and perform minor repairs.
• Perform basic plumbing, drywall, painting and HVAC maintenance.
• Repair fences, decks, gates, walls and partitions.
• Support exterior maintenance and light landscaping tasks.
• Troubleshoot leaks and noises; address building issues.
• Rotate on-call emergency maintenance coverage as needed.

Job description

Larlyn Property Management is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our Southwestern Ontario portfolio. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable supporting weekend or on-call emergency needs when required.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will assist with general maintenance, suite preparation, repairs, and property upkeep across multiple sites. Responsibilities may include:

• Completing maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Preparing vacant units for re-renting, including minor repairs, touch-ups, hardware adjustments, fixture replacements, and general clean-up
• Performing minor plumbing, drywall repairs, painting, and basic HVAC maintenance
• Repairing fences, decks, gates, railings, stairs, walls, and partitions
• Assisting with exterior maintenance, including minor landscaping, patio stones, gardening, eaves troughs, downspouts, and snow removal
• Troubleshooting leaks, noises, and general building issues
• Assisting other sites as operational needs arise
• Participating in rotating on-call emergency maintenance coverage

Physical and Practical Requirements

This role requires hands-on physical work. Candidates must be able to:

• Walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Maneuver up to 90 kg with proper equipment
• Provide their own tools by the end of the probationary period
• Have access to their own vehicle; a truck or trailer is preferred

This is a full-time position based out of our London office, supporting properties across Southwestern Ontario. While the regular schedule is generally Monday to Friday, flexibility is required to support operational needs, weekend work, and rotating on-call duties.
