Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Labourer to join our ATCO Facility Solutions team in Calgary, AB. The Labourer is responsible for assisting the tradespersons with preventative maintenance and inspection tasks.

Where We Work and Live:

ATCO Frontec provides preventative and corrective maintenance services for our customers throughout Alberta. Our maintenance teams are mobile, and travel will be required in this position.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide input into the preventive maintenance plan;
2. Assist with various project tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywalling, warehouse support, etc.);
3. Assist the tradespersons with inspections and general maintenance tasks;
4. Complete regular maintenance checks on equipment;
5. Propose alternative solutions to mitigate delays;
6. Organize supplies, and handle pick-up and drop-off logistics;
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of one year of experience in general trades; experience in electrical construction or maintenance would be considered a strong asset.
2. Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required.
3. Good mechanical skills and understanding of building components and equipment;
4. Good communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
