Job summary

Kal Tire in Airdrie, AB is hiring a Tire Technician to install, repair and maintain tires in our shop. This temporary role offers full-time or part-time hours, with training and a safety‑focused team to support you.

You'll work with tire service equipment, follow safety procedures, and help keep the shop running smoothly. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 30–50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety‑first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule
