Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 3–5 years of experience at the Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar level.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial systems.
• Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, cash management, and GL activities.
• Manage and participate directly in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial information and records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Monitor financial results and investigate unusual trends or variances.
• Support payroll and related processes as required.
• Coordinate information for external accountants, auditors, tax filings, and other reporting.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reporting.
• Work with other departments to resolve accounting and financial issues.
• Assist with financial analysis and special projects as required.
• Be willing to step in and help wherever necessary to keep the finance function running smoothly.
