Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Project Manager – Security Solutions to lead medium to large security projects in Halifax, NS. The role involves planning, scheduling, procurement, installation, and start-up, with a focus on meeting customer requirements and managing costs.

You will translate client needs into detailed plans, coordinate design and installation teams, and proactively manage risks and schedules while ensuring service excellence and compliance with security clearances as required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring capabilities for project teams.
• Strong analytical skills and cost control experience.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada. Three to five years of PM experience in security systems.
• PMI certification preferred; industry certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large projects from award to completion, possibly multiple projects.
• Translate customer needs into detailed project plans and cost estimates; assist sales as needed.
• Coordinate design engineering, installation, and subcontractors; manage schedules and change orders.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, and risk; communicate with stakeholders.
