Job summary

First Choice Haircutters in Windsor is seeking an experienced hairstylist to provide cutting, coloring, and styling services. You will consult with clients, cut hair to their preferences, and perform scalp massages and hair treatments.

This on-site role requires a licensed professional with versatility in styling techniques. The position involves daily client interaction, booking, and receptionist duties as part of a busy barbershop environment.

Qualifications

• Hairstylist Licence required.
• On-site work at a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.

Responsibilities

• Book appointments.
• Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences.
• Shampoo customers' hair.
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening and tinting and scalp conditioning massages.
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client's features and preferences.
• Perform receptionist duties.
