Job summary

First Choice Haircutters in Windsor, Ontario is seeking an experienced Hairstylist to join our on-site team. You will cut, trim, color and style hair according to client preferences, shampoo and provide beard trimming, and perform receptionist duties as needed.

Active hairstylist licence is required or at least equivalent experience; experience is an asset. We offer commission and benefits including dental, health and vision coverage; gratuities and group life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Book appointments
• Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
• Shampoo customers' hair
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches
• Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client's physical features and preferences
• Perform receptionist duties
