We are looking for experiencedHairstylists and Barberswho are driven to grow their career using their artistic ability within the industry to join and grow our supportive team. The Stylists report to the Studio Manager and work closely with a team of Stylists to deliver exceptional customer service.

About Us:

We are located just inside St. Albert, right off the Anthony Henday on Campbell Road, which provides an excellent location that is easily accessible from Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Our studio hours are:

• Tuesday to Thursday – 1pm to 9pm
• Fridays – 10am to 5pm
• Saturdays – 10am to 5pm

Qualifications:

• Certified Journeyman Hairstylist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Following of clientele is an asset.
• Passionate professional who takes pride in producing quality output.
• Customer-oriented with exceptional communication skills.
• Reliable and friendly team player.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Desire to grow personally and professionally.
• Familiarity with currentsocial mediaplatforms for self promotion.
• Genuine interest and initiative to help Ragged Edge be the best Studio it can be.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and create a welcoming environment.
• Assist clients with styling choices. Plans desired effect by studying facial features, examining potential styles, conferring with customers and making recommendations.
• Shampoo, cut, colour, and style hair.
• Analyse hair and scalp and suggest treatments.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to walk-in customers as required.
• Book, track, and follow-up on appointments as required.
• Maintain Studio software including customer record management.
• Conduct point of sale transactions and package purchases for customers as required.
• Educate customers and promote products sales and services.
• Maintain safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications and knowing your product.
• Contribute to the Ragged Edge Team to ensure business growth and development.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of workspace at all times.
