Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Hairstylist role based at Spruce Salon in Kelowna, BC. The Hairstylist will consult with clients to understand their hair goals, provide cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, and recommend appropriate at-home hair care products. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon health and safety standards, and managing appointment times efficiently. The role involves building strong client relationships through attentive service, maintaining detailed client records, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture. The Hairstylist may also participate in training sessions, trend updates, and salon promotions to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, with experience in cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques.
• Formal training or certification in Cosmetology, with knowledge of salon safety and hygiene standards.
