Overview

As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell products and provide support and guidance. Use fashion and product knowledge to give customers the information they need for the best experience. You will also work on garment refill and care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, collaborating with the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service: welcome and guide customers through the store and the omni-channel experience where available, supporting direct customer service
  • Engage with customers to provide outstanding service
  • Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store
  • Promote and sell products to customers
  • Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
  • Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions
  • Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management
Fashion & Trend Awareness
  • Keep up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers
  • Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers
Team & Development
  • Share service, fashion, and store operations knowledge with colleagues
  • Follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all store areas
  • Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn and develop
  • Participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant to the role and future development
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
  • Complete garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care
  • Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practice and processes
  • Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms)
  • Assist with garment presentation, execution and upkeep of attractive merchandise displays and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines
  • Maintain stock levels with replenishment on the sales floor
  • Follow best practices for in-store omni-channel services and tools
  • Support opening and closing of the store
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role
Qualifications
  • As a Sales Advisor, you should be passionate about fashion and what we create in-store
  • Motivated by delivering a great customer experience
  • Communicative, creative, curious, motivated, flexible, decisive, and action-oriented
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
  • Experience in sales within a dynamic, collaborative environment applicable to the role
  • Experience in customer service in fashion, retail, or other service-related industries
