Job summary

United Softw is seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer in Mississauga, ON to design, develop and maintain PolicyCenter functionality on the Guidewire Platform. The role requires deep GW experience, strong SQL/XML skills and a business-minded approach to translating requirements.

You will configure screen layouts, company structure, and assets within the GW Product Suite, collaborating with BAs and using Git/Jenkins/Maven in a structured delivery process.

Qualifications

• Guidewire Dev Experience for at least 12-15 years.
• Designing, developing and maintaining PolicyCenter functionality within Guidewire Platform.
• Experience configuring screen layouts including creation of new screens and XML changes.
• Understanding of the insurance business and ability to translate business requirements into system changes.
• Experience configuring company structure: single/multiple organizations, roles, permissions, groups, producer, producer codes.
• Understanding GW Product Suite and frameworks for development workflows, data model changes, rulesets, etc.
• Knowledge in configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, batches and predefined plugins.
• Work with patterns and standard practices used to deliver software solutions.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, code release tools.
• Experience configuring new offerings, question sets, coverages and limits within Product Designer.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Location: Mississauga, ON (onsite)

• Need to have Guidewire Dev Experience for at least 12-15 years
• Role will involve work on Designing Developing and Maintaining Policy Center functionality within Guidewire Platform
• Should have experience relating to configuration of screen layouts including creation of new screens and enhancement to others and XML changes
• Should have an understanding of the insurance business an ability to talk to Business Analysts in order to translate business requirements into system changes
• Should have experience in configuration of the company structure singlemultiple organizations roles permissions groups producer producer codes
• Should have full understanding of the GW Product Suite and the frameworks available for development workflows data model changes rulesets etc
• Should have knowledge in configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators batches and predefined plugins
• Should work with proper patterns and standard practices that are used to deliver software solutions
• Should have experience in working with tools like GIT Jenkins Maven Code release tools
• Should have experience in configuring new offerings question sets coverages and limits within Product Designer
