Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking an integration developer to bridge Guidewire PolicyCenter with enterprise systems using Java, Gosu, and REST/SOAP APIs. This hybrid role focuses on building scalable integrations and secure API proxies on the Apigee platform.

You will implement messaging, web services, and backend data exchanges, while enforcing OAuth2/JWT authentication and mTLS. Proficiency in Postman testing and API validation is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java development with focus on microservices.
• Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Hands-on with Apigee API management and proxy configuration.
• Strong experience building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of Gosu for Guidewire integrations.
• Familiar with API testing tools like Postman.

Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Developer – Java, Spring Boot, Apigee, REST APIs

Role Overview & Objectives

This hybrid role blends Guidewire PolicyCenter integration with enterprise API management, requiring core development in Java, Spring Boot, and Apigee.

Design & Build:

• Deliver scalable integrations connecting Guidewire PolicyCenter with external systems using Java/Gosu and REST/SOAP APIs

Manage APIs:

• Build, configure, and secure API proxies and shared flows on the Apigee platform

Ensure Security:

• Enforce enterprise authorization, authentication, and token translation models

Key Responsibilities

PolicyCenter Integration:

• Implement plugins, messaging queues, and web service integrations for PolicyCenter data exchanges

Java & Spring Development:

• Code robust microservices and custom extensions using Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework

Apigee Administration:

• Write API proxies, configure traffic management policies, and handle backend database/SQL integrations

API Security & Auth:

• Enforce security policies via OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and mTLS

Testing & Validation:

• Test endpoint responses, payload structures, and mock services utilizing Postman
